Penampang December 14, 2009 : Former MP Henrynus Amin has been appointed as Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) new Secretary-General, replacing Datuk Radin Malleh, during the party's first Supreme Council meeting after its 24th Congress, here, Sunday.
PBS President Datuk Seri Joseph Pairin Kitingan, who chaired the meeting, said based on the party's constitution he was given the mandate to make the appointments.
The appointment marked a comeback for Henrynus who last held the post of information chief in 2006.
He took over from Radin, who won one of the two vice president posts for the non-Muslim Bumiputera slot uncontested at the party's recent congress.
