The outcome of the MCA extraordinary general meeting (EGM) today has created an unexpected deadlock with the party crisis set to deepen further after the party delegates decided to reject the two key figures featuring in it -- Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat and Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek.
"It a lose-lose situation. No conclusion. Instead it created another major deadlock. This has left the party with another headache on how to resolve this, which literally means the problem will continue,"
"Legally you can continue as president, but morally you cannot. This is because normally, when people don't want you anymore, they will put in a motion of no-confidence against you,"
