FIRST 15 SDC PROJECTS AWARDED VIA OPEN TENDERS

image Kota Kinabalu, April 25, 2009: The Sabah Development Corridor (SDC) announced by former Prime Minister Datuk Seri (now Tun) Abdullah Ahmad Badawi about a year ago is finally moving with the first 15 projects amounting to RM34.7 million awarded Friday to successful bidders through open tenders.

musa aman none will be left behind Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said the second round of open tenders would be announced soon and made available in the Sabah Economic Development and Investment Authority (Sedia) website.

The entire SDC project for two years, at the moment, is worth RM2.37 billion although most of its projects are still being studied and some at the design phase, he said.

He assured that once it is ready, it would be implemented.
