As such, Sabah is qualified for the 1Malaysia concept, especially due to the high degree of tolerance among its people, said Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun.
Speaking at the launch of the Sony Kaamatan roadshow here yesterday, he said those who wished to learn more about tolerance and of harmony should come to Sabah as there was much to learn from Sabahans.
On the Kaamatan festivity, he said that it was a celebration of the Kadazan, Dusun and Murut communities in Sabah but it was celebrated by others.
