2-HEADED SALAMANDER DRAWS CROWD

LANGKAWI 2009/05/06: Langkawi has a new "attraction". Since last Thursday people have been crowding a Tenaga Nasional Bhd employee's house in Kampung Perana, Mukim Melaka, to have a look at a two-headed salamander.

Dahalan Ahmad said: "I was reading the newspapers when I saw something crawling on the floor. I picked it up and was surprised to find a 6-centimetre long salamander with two heads."
As far as he can tell, both heads are functioning. He plans to keep it as a pet.
