ENSURE NO PRICE HIKE WITH NEW SALARIES

Fomca: Ensure no price hike with new salaries

image KUALA LUMPUR: Fomca wants the government to check on reports of supermarkets asking for the new salary scale of the Public Service New Remuneration Scheme

Its chief executive officer Mohd Yusof Abdul Rahman said it was unreasonable of traders to use the salary increase to raise prices indiscriminately.

"The authorities must pay attention to this issue because the salary increase will become meaningless if the prices of goods keep rising," he said.

"The government must continue to monitor traders who raise prices of goods excessively and act under the Price Control Act and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011."

    Itu yang kita harapkan tidak akan ada kenaikan berlaku. Mungkin penjawat awam boleh lagi menerima kerana berlaku perubahan SSM kepada SBPA tapi bagaimana dengan pekerja swasta?

    barangan yang ada di pasaran harap tidak dinaikkan lagi. Harga barang semakin naik, nilai RM semakin kecil. RM50 umpama RM5.

    skim ini hanya untuk penjawat awam dan kenaikan gaji hanya pada penjawat awam. kalau naik harga barang, bagaimana pula dengan mereka yang bekerja dalam sektor swasta?
