Sabahan found dead after fight
2011/02/03 KLANG: A 20-year-old Sabahan was found brutally murdered after an alleged fight on the fourth floor of a shop lot at Lebuh Turi, Pandamaran near here last night.
Selangor Criminal Investigation Department (Intelligence and Operation) deputy chief ACP Rosli Mohd Isa the victim, Mohd Munir Mohd Said, from Sabah, was found dead in a pool of blood on the fourth floor of a shop.
He added that police received information of a fight at about 11.10pm but when police arrived at the location, there was no fight as claimed.
"Upon investigating the area, a trail of blood led police to the fourth floor where the victim's body was found. He had stab wounds to his chest and slash marks on his left hand," he told reporters here today.
Rosli said a parang was also found at the scene while the body was sent to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) for post-mortem.
Meanwhile, Klang Selatan Police Chief ACP Mohamad Mat Yusof said five suspects, aged between 20 and 30, have been detained to facilitate investigations. -- BERNAMA
