ONE TEACHER FROM A PRIMARY SCHOOL HERE CITED AN EXAMPLE WHERE TWENTY NEW COMPUTERS COULD NOT BE PLACED IN THE LABS BECAUSE A BURNT FUSE HAD NOT BEEN FIXED. ANOTHER TEACHER FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL CLAIMED THAT A BURNT FUSE IN A COMPUTER LAB HAD NOT BEEN FIXED SINCE 2007.

Increase interaction between teachers, parents and department,

“With this programme, we are going to the ground instead of just sitting in our office to help people in the teaching profession overcome issues they face in their respective fields. If the problems require longer time to settle, we will obtain details about the issue and follow up later at our main office,”

State Education Director Dr Haji Muhiddin Yusin

    the State Education Department should fully aware of the problems faced by schools and trying its best to solve them. we need well-equipped, comfortable and safe environment of schools.

    The State Education Department should visit this school and other schools as well to inspect if the school environment is safe or not. Burn fuse is no joke coz it can cause fire and it should be replaced immediately..

    Kenapa sekolah tidak mengeluarkan sikit peruntukan untuk membaikinya dahulu? Kalau tidak cukup peruntukan, boleh minta sponsor ataupun buat jogathon. Kalau masalah kecil, cuba selesaikan sendiri, takkan apa apa masalah pun bergantung dengan kerajaan.

    What fused is burned?Maybe the school can change it themselves using their own fund, then claim it back from the ministry of education?

    Surely the school have certain allocations that are reserved for emergencies like these. If not, they can discuss with the PIBG or Board of Directors.

    good effort from the state education department...this effort can be a annual programme for the department in order to improve their service and make a better delivery system...

    Inilah masalah kebanyakkan guru-guru kurangnya pengatahuan tentang komputer akan mengundang pelbagai masalah. Masalah ini biasanya berlaku disebabkan pemasangan komputer tidak menggunakan 'booster' menyebabkan 'fuse' mudah rosak kerana aliran elektrik tidak stabil.

    Bagi saya kalau setakat 'puse' atau benda2 kecil yang rosak tidak perlulah minta dengan kerajaan, gunalah duit tabung sekolah, kecuali ia melibatkan banyak peralatan dengan jumlah dan kos yang tinggi. Ini mungkin boleh dipertimbangkan.

    Yalah, memang banyak sekolah mengunakan wang dari tabung sekolah, kalau perkara besar seperti membina bagunan baru, juga diselesaikan sendiri.

    Usually the schools will organize a bazaar to raise money for fixing classrooms, new paint, or burned fuse. I wonder why they didn't consider doing so.

    Harap pihak sekolah jangan terlalu begantung pada pembantuan kerajaan. Ini bukan sahaja buang masa kerana hal kecil, malah membawa kesukaran dalam pembelajaran murid-murid.
