WHEN MOHAMMAD FAIRUS RESIGNED AS DCM, HE DEMANDED THAT PKR PAY FOR HIS LOANS ON TWO LUXURY CARS AND PAY HIM RM15,000 PER MONTH FOR A PERIOD TO BE DECIDED BY HIM

Fairus A Liability To PKR - Syed Husin

KUALA TERENGGANU, March 1 (Bernama) -- Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) on Monday described former Penang deputy chief minister I, Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin as a liability to the party.

"We must be thankful to Allah that Fairus has finally left the party. Since he joined the Penang government and after resigning from the post (of deputy chief minister) until now, he had been a liability," said PKR deputy president Dr Syed Husin Ali.

In his e-mail to Bernama, he claimed that Mohammad Fairus had relinquished his post as the deputy chief minister as he was then being investigated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), besides the factor of his poor performance.

"When he resigned, he demanded that the party pay for his loans on two luxury cars and pay him RM15,000 per month for a period to be decided by him," he said.
