Disgruntled: Motorists using the poorly maintained federal road in the Belaga district in central Sarawak. Road users claimed that the road is still in a bad condition for many years despite people calling in to complain using the hotline number.
“For 40 years, the 150km long Miri-Lapok-Long Lama road in interior Miri has not been repaired, but we keep hearing from government politicians that the Federal Government had approved RM150mil for that road to be repaired,’’
“They keep saying this every election. Today, that road is still in an extremely bad condition and poses a constant danger to road users,’’
