Sabahans need to stop their dependence on plastic bags whenever they go shopping and opt for more environmentally friendly bags such as biogradeable plastic bags, recyclable paper bags or simply bring their own grocery bags from home.

On the level of cleanliness in his own town, Ranau, particularly the Kundasang area which is popular as a tourist destination due to Mt Kinabalu
“Kundasang produces so much rubbish that the town is now plagued with flies. If you drink at a coffee shop in Kundasang, you will have to continually swat off flies from your cup,”
