Hunter shoots father-in-law, then hushes up accident
October 11, 2011 : A MAN who went hunting in a jungle in Ranau, Sabah, accidentally shot his father-in-law, claiming that he mistook him for a squirrel.
Frightened, the 36-year-old who killed Wahiman Usat, 50, near Kampung Lobau Lama last Thursday, did not report the incident to the police, reported Harian Metro.
Instead, he carried his father-in-law's body back home, washed it and buried him on the same day.
However, Wahiman's cousin, who helped in the cleansing ritual, became suspicious after seeing the gunshot wound on the victim's face and lodged a police report.
Sabah deputy CID chief Asst Comm Mohd Shariff Abdul Wahid said the man had been arrested for questioning. He said police were waiting for a court order before exhuming the body.
Tidak logik alasan lelaki ini.
BalasPadamperlu disiasat, mgkin kematiannya disengajakan.
