Hospital patient hurt by falling concrete
KOTA KINABALU July 15, 2012: A piece of concrete fell from the ceiling and injured a patient at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH I) in Sembulan here yesterday.
The incident is said to have happened around 11am in one of the wards located on the ground floor.
It is also learnt that the fallen concrete hit the patient when he was warded with other patients, but the victim suffered only minor injury and was immediately given treatment.
It was not known how many patients were in the ward when the incident happened, but all of them had been transferred to another ward for safety purposes.
The hospital authority has installed a couple of steel beams apparently as a temporary support before repairs are carried out.

Nasib baik kecederaan tidak serius, tapi bahaya kalau ada konkrete yang tiba-tiba terjatuh dari atas. Semoga pembaikian akan dibuat.
