She said her agent told her to kill me, claims housewife
POSER: The victim in hospital for injuries on the fingers, shoulders, head and face
SEREMBAN June 29th, 2011 : A teenage Indonesian maid hired one month ago attacked a housewife with a hammer and a piece of wood -- hitting, punching and kicking her employer more than 30 times.
The incident allegedly happened at 8am on Monday at a guarded and community in Nilai, Negri Sembilan, when the 31-year-old housewife was preparing to send her sons, aged two and three, to a kindergarten.

ON THE RUN: Police looking for Fitriani
"My sons were in my car outside the house gate. I was putting on my shoes when all of a sudden, my maid Fitriani attacked me from behind," the victim said yesterday at the Seremban Specialist Hospital where she received 14 stitches on the head and also suffered swollen eyes and scratches on her shoulders.
"She dragged me into the toilet and used a hammer and piece of wood to continuously hit, punch and kick me more than 30 times. I yelled in pain and begged her to stop. She said her agent told her to kill me and that she had no choice but to obey. She then stopped, looked guilty, and quickly packed her clothes and ran away through the backyard."
After the 19-year-old maid fled, the victim got into her car and with a neighbour's assistance, drove to a clinic for treatment before being taken by an ambulance to the hospital.
The housewife's husband, a 39-year-old mechanical engineer Rahiman Ahmad, was at work at Glenmarie in Shah Alam, during the incident.
He said: "I am shocked. We never scolded Fitriani, much less abused her in any way. My wife was gentle and polite to the maid and our children also became attached to her."
Seremban police chief ACP Saiful Azly Kamaruddin confirmed the incident and said investigations were underway.
He urged the public who come across Fitriani to contact the Seremban police headquarters at 06-6033 222.
Police also sent a canine unit and forensic team yesterday to the scene of the incident.
