SABAH WANTS MORE FEDERAL FUNDS

Sabah will be appealing for more money from the Federal Government at a dialogue with Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop on Jan 16.

A "big allocation" was needed to develop infrastructure in the rural areas under the 10th Malaysia Plan.

"In Sabah, we always need more infrastructure in the rural areas. That is our priority for now. We will be discussing it one by one as decided by the Economic Planning Unit.

"But basically that is what we need, more infrastructure like roads and bridges,"

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman
