PUTRAJAYA: The public can get information about the two stimulus packages from the newly-launched www.rangsanganekonomi.treasury.gov.my website.
The Finance Ministry launched the website yesterday.
“The website, among other things, will detail the disbursement and where the money is going for the first and the second packages, as well as the project implementation,” said Datuk Mohamad Othman Zainal Azim, chief executive officer at the project management unit of the ministry, at the launching ceremony here.
He added the website also provided an avenue for public feedback.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, in a short message on the website, said: “Malaysians will know, and be able to follow, the implementation of the various initiatives formulated to address the economic issues stemming from the global financial meltdown.”
