RAZALEIGH: RM10 BLN FOR MINI-BUDGET TOO SMALL

ku20li GUA MUSANG, March 7 (Bernama) -- The RM10 billion 'mini budget' which will be tabled in Parliament on March 10 is not enough to overcome the economic crisis which has affected the country.

Member of Parliament for Gua Musang, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, said although the 'mini budget' was the best effort undertaken by the government, it was not enough and should be increased to RM30 billion.

"The allocations are too small and are difficult to overcome the crisis during the short period,"

"The experts, local and overseas, said the allocation is too small to give a positive effect to overcome the crisis," he said.
