OPPORTUNITIES IN TOURISM SECTOR: DATUK MASIDI MANJUN

DSC08779KOTA KINABALU: More Sabah Bumiputera entrepreneurs should tap the vast opportunities offered by the rapidly growing tourism sector, said Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Datuk Masidi Manjun.

He pointed currently about 80,000 tourists from Korea spent their holidays annually in Sabah but there are less than 10 registered local tour guides who speak Korean.

“The visitors would love to experience our authentic culture and native foods. The food businesses are really in sync with the effort to develop the tourism sector and the market for native food is obviously there,” he said.
