JOB PLACEMENT DAY

Kota Kinabalu: A TOTAL of 569 vacancies were available to job seekers on the first "Job Placement Day" held at Wisma Perkeso, Saturday.

"The programme is being held first here, to be followed by Tawau on March 14 and would be extended to our 13 divisional offices in Sabah.

"The programme would be held twice on every second and fourth week of the month," said Sabah Labour Department Director, Siti Aishah Mohd Asri.

She said the programme also provides counters to register job seekers and help those who have registered with JobsMalaysia to be employed.
