SARIMAH IBRAHIM TO HOST 'THE BIGGEST LOSER ASIA'

Malaysia's bubbly TV host Sarimah Ibrahim will host Asia's first regional weight-loss reality show, 'The Biggest Loser Asia'.

She will be a constant personality on the show with 30 contestants vying for the first Asian Biggest Loser title and US$100,000 (about RM350,000) prize.

The programme, produced by Malaysia-based Imagine OmniMedia, will be aired on Astro's Hallmark Channel 702, beginning November-end.

"The show is definitely what reality TV is all about, as nothing can be more real to people than changing their lifestyles and mindsets," Sarimah said at the event announcing the programme's host here Tuesday.

The Biggest Loser, is a life-changing unscripted series, where overweight contestants lose pounds to win.
