Vote for BN is to favour illegals: Ex-DO
Kota Kinabalu 10/11/2012: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Vice President Jaafar Ismail said people who support Barisan Nasional (BN) are tantamount to supporting the influx of illegal immigrants into Sabah.
He said the party would send back all these illegal immigrants in the State to their respective country of origin if it takes over the State Government administration.
"We must change this. Because to continue supporting BN means you continue to support the presence of illegal immigrants in Sabah and them being phantom votersÉcontinue voting BN means a continued increase of illegal immigrants in Sabah,"
he said while presenting a talk titled "Sabah's Future" organised by SAPP Likas CLC here.
Party President Datuk Yong Teck Lee, who is a former Chief Minister, Adviser Datuk Mohd Noor Mansur who is a former State Finance Minister, Deputy President, Likas CLC Chairman cum Likas Assemblyman Datuk Liew Teck Chan and Vice President Datuk Wong Yit Ming, among others, were also present.
Jaafar, who is former Semporna and Beaufort District Officer, said the illegal immigrants' questionable culture like murdering people just because of a petty fight and even over RM5 needs to be got rid of.
"It is no longer safe for the locals to go and spend money at the Central Market here and many others because these places are now crowded with illegal immigrants," he said.
He said the Federal Government also continued to lie to the people of Sabah by saying BN has brought in much development to all parts of the State while the fact is the State is still far left behind other states.
"So we can say that the 'Promises Fulfilled' slogan is just a lie," he said.
